Tollymore Forest Park
Tollymore Forest Park has panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the sea at Newcastle. Four waymarked trails of varying lengths take the visitor on a tour of the park’s most beautiful areas. The park is a fantastic area for many outdoor activities including walking, horse riding and orienteering and has a fantastic Nature Play Space for the kids. The Shimna River flows through the forest adding to its reputation for being a superb place for a picnic.
It’s open to the public all year.
